The App

We do NOT collect:

Information That Stays on Your Device

All of the following is stored ONLY on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Profiles you create
• Routines, choice boards, and First/Then boards
• Custom images you take or select
• Voice recordings you create
• Progress history and statistics
• App settings and preferences

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Premium:

• Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store
• We receive an anonymous subscription status (active/inactive)
• We do NOT receive your payment details, name, or Apple ID
• Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat SDK

RevenueCat SDK

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat:

• Receives anonymous purchase receipts from Apple
• Does not receive personal information
• Cannot identify individual users

Third-Party Services in the App

The app uses the following third-party services:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve features and fix issues. Data collected includes:

• App opens, screen views, and feature usage
• Device type, operating system, and app version

MyVisualRoutine is designed for use by parents and caregivers with their family members. We take children's privacy seriously:

• No accounts are required
• Parents maintain full control of all content created in the app
• Custom photos and voice recordings stay on the device
• Ads shown to free users comply with Google's policies for family-safe content

Important: The app is intended for use by adults (parents, caregivers, educators). While children may use the app under supervision, the data collection described in this policy (analytics, crash reporting, advertising) applies to all users.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• All data on your device is stored in the app's protected sandbox
• All communications with third-party services use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)

• Third-party providers (Google, RevenueCat) maintain their own security practices

Data Retention

Local App Data:

• Routines, profiles, and custom content are stored locally on your device
• When you delete the app, all local data is deleted

Analytics & Advertising Data:

• Google Analytics data is retained per Google's data retention policies
• Firebase Crashlytics data is retained for 90 days
• AdMob data is retained per Google's advertising data policies

Website Data:

• Email addresses (if provided) retained until you unsubscribe
• Analytics data (Plausible) retained for 2 years in aggregate form

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view all your local data within the app
• Portability: You can export your data from the app (Premium feature)
• Deletion: Deleting the app deletes all local data
• Opt-out of Ads: Subscribe to Premium to disable ads and AdMob data collection
• Limit Ad Tracking: Use iOS settings to limit ad tracking (Settings > Privacy > Tracking)

For website data:

• Email unsubscribe link in every email
• Contact us to delete any data you've provided

International Users

MyVisualRoutine is available globally. By using the app, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. Data collected through our third-party services (Google Analytics, Firebase, AdMob) may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if our practices change. Changes will be:

• Posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
• Noted in app updates for significant changes
• Effective immediately upon posting
